IMPORTANT CARE INSTRUCTIONS:

We highly recommended washing in COLD WATER ONLY, but if necessary washing in cold water with quarter sized dollop of non-phosphate soap. 

 Do NOT wash with phosphates, soda, borax or bleach.

 Dry cleaning is NOT recommended.

***When exposed to long periods of direct sunlight products’ saturation and color will fade… Don’t Panic! This is a normal occurrence and can be reversed and full saturation regenerated by simply storing the item in a dark space for a few hours, or simply leaving it inside over the course of the night. 

The Cyanotype is a chemical process, and and thus can be effected by the introduction of other chemicals, such as sulfides that are found in many foods and liquids. These products are unique in their process and crafted with care and should be handled with the same.

Always hand wash your products in cold water, and never use any soaps that contain phosphates or bleaching agents of any kind as this can change the nature of the chemistry and distort the coloration. We suggest hand washing in a bath of cold water only, and if a cleaning agent is needed a small amount of citric acid is the only thing we suggest. This may cause temporary discoloration but should return to full saturation shortly.
